Differences: GAZ-67 vs. GAZ-67B Production Timeline: The original GAZ-67 launched in 1943 during World War II, while the improved GAZ-67B was introduced in early 1944 (some sources note 1945) and continued production post-war until 1953. Track Width & Chassis: The GAZ-67B featured a widened wheel track (1,445 mm compared to the older 1,250 mm) and a strengthened chassis/frame for better stability and off-road handling. Mechanical Upgrades: The 'B' variant incorporated enhanced electrical systems, a stronger starter/carburetor setup, and improved steering and axle components derived from larger Soviet trucks like the GAZ-MM.
